Senior mauled by pack of vicious raccoons in Lakeland, Florida
A relaxing Sunday in Florida turns into a stressful nightmare for senior citizen, Gretchen Whitted, as she is surrounded by five raccoons in her front yard. According to reports, she was attempting to chase them out of her yard, was overcome by them and fell. Then the raccoons attacked her repeatedly.
Hearing the woman's cries and seeing her covered in blood, a concerned neighbor called for help. Whitted was taken to a hospital with extensive cuts from her neck down to her legs.

Residents of the West Chester and Anderson Township neighborhoods have attributed numerous recent reports of missing pets to coyotes in the area. Daytime sightings have been reported around schools and backyards according to News Channel 5.
